Dr Zoi Tsianou is a GMC Specialist Register Dermatologist, doubled qualified, in the UK and Greece. She has long NHS experience and currently works as a Consultant Dermatologist at Mid and South Essex NHS Trust. Her special interests include, but are not limited to, skin cancer, moles checks and mapping, eczema, acne, psoriasis, patch testing and inflammatory skin disease. She has extensive experience in dermatological surgical procedures such as cryotherapy, diagnostic skin biopsies, surgical removal of lesions, along curettage and cautery. Her main medical interest is Psoriasis and Eczema conditions.
She has authored and co-authored numerous publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals. She was awarded the UK Dermatology Clinical Trials Network Fellowship, which she conducted in 2018 for two years. She regularly presents her research in international and national congresses and meetings. She is also an associate editor and a peer-reviewer for medical journals. She is actively involved in continuous research.
Dr Tsianou is a member of the International Dermoscopy Society, the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Medical Association, St John’s Dermatological Society and the Medical Protection Society.
I met Zoi on an aeroplane almost four years before she joined Skin Inspection. It was a full flight, and she stood up to give her emergency exit seat to a very tall passenger who had been assigned a cramped seat by mistake. That passenger was me! Zoi is not only very kind and caring with strangers, she also has an impressive profile that undoubtedly benefits Skin Inspection’s patients. Working with Zoi was a goal since we first met her and she joining the team was a big step forward for Skin Inspection.
Zoi is extremely well-organised with all aspects of her clinics and demonstrates an invaluable attention to detail.
